James' 1962 Hammond A-100 complete with pedal clavier. IMG_1026.JPG The ring modulator that James bought and built. It works... ...and it sounds *just* like Jon Lord's!! YESSSSS! Not quite loud enough on its own, we mic it through the mixer using 2 Shure PG57s and an Electrovoice PL5. The Road 220 lead head was used to allow the ring modulator sounds. Since the mods to let the reverb go through the Leslie, this won't work, so it has gone on to bass duties. Mixer 002.jpg The 8 lead Yamaha EM1800 Mixer sitting on the Road cabinet, which allows us to mic & mix the instruments & vocals. This, coupled with the Peavy JP5 PA speakers have made band life a lot easier!
